Embodying the Wisdom of 12 Life-Changing Books Through Dance

12 Books, 12 Dances invites you to experience the transformative wisdom of 12 life-changing books—not through intellectual understanding, but through the profound language of movement. Drawing on the principles of Biodanza, this holistic approach brings some of the teachings of these powerful books into the body, allowing you to internalize their ideas on a deeper, more intuitive level.
Of course, in a single Biodanza class, we can't hope to dance through all the content and perspectives of a great book. Instead, we will dive into some of its key aspects through movement, embodying its teachings and awakening information, memories, and the possibility of exploring different facets of the same idea, as each person brings their own unique story to the dance.
This is a first exploration of these great works, each of which contains many layers of understanding. It’s like taking a first walk through gardens of knowledge that our body, heart, mind, and soul can rediscover through dance.
We will dance key ideas, which, through the Lines of Vivência in Biodanza, can find new places within us.
Each class is dedicated to a different book, exploring themes such as creativity, spirituality, relationships, abundance, leadership, and personal growth. You don’t need to have read the books, as the essence of each will come alive through movement. Through the body, you’ll engage with their teachings in a way that speaks directly to the soul. In fact, it might be even more meaningful if you haven’t read them yet, as the experience could inspire you to dive into the books afterward.
This journey creates an immersive space for personal transformation through dance. Eight classes will be held on Fridays in Algés, and the final four books will be danced during a magical week-long retreat in nature.

The Power of Biodanza:
Biodanza, known as the “dance of life,” activates the deep emotional and creative potentials within human connection, self-expression, and healing. This practice invites participants to reconnect with the innate wisdom of their bodies, moving beyond the intellect to access profound emotional and spiritual truths. Rooted in the sacredness of the body, Biodanza offers the perfect means to embody the wisdom of these books.
Each class will be an experiential journey, offering participants the opportunity to feel these teachings come alive in their bodies. Through dynamic group and partner exercises, we’ll explore key themes like love, resilience, manifestation, and creativity, while fostering a deep connection with others and oneself.
An Invitation to Transformation:
The 12 Books, 12 Dances series is an invitation to fully embody the life-changing wisdom of books. Each dance is a journey beyond words, a shared ritual of personal transformation, deep connection, and creative exploration.
